Vertec Polymers is a plastic manufacturer in Houston, Texas. President Shawn Smith was Kristi’s manager at PentaSafe and when the company was acquired by NetIQ, this became his next venture.
Fresh ID helped define the new identity from the beginning. We created the website, marketing collateral, sales kits, product photography, postcards, powerpoint templates, business cards and a fancy tradeshow booth that features multiple layout possibilities and two different sets of graphics (to be used for different types of events… one focuses on the scientific, molecular qualities of plastic and the other features the actual products and industry uses.)
Design work like this may look superficial as these are only a few samples, but it actually affects the product line as well. We came up with classification and color coding schemes that new products now fall into. Taxonomy planning and organization of products or data is something we do to bring order to chaos before crafting a visual design.
